These vintage brown trousers are a total wardrobe classic—structured yet soft, high-waisted with a slightly tapered leg, and cut from a beautifully draping fabric (material tag is washed out, but it feels like a soft cotton blend or brushed cord). The deep chocolate brown shade instantly evokes a cozy, bookish dark academia vibe—especially when styled with loafers, knits, or crisp button-downs.
The pants were slightly too big for our model, so we temporarily clipped them at the back for display purposes, but they’d be ideal for someone who typically wears EU 38–40 and wants a more relaxed, high-waisted fit. The pleating and pockets add timeless tailoring details, making these pants both practical and chic.
Pair them with a tucked-in vintage blouse, a slouchy cardigan, or a classic tank and strappy heels like we did—these trousers transition from day to night with ease.
