This vintage Escada by Margaretha Ley turtleneck is a true minimalist dream with a luxury twist.
Made in Germany and crafted from a wool cashmere blend, it features a beautiful ribbed knit in a soft cream shade.
Originally tagged as a vintage size 42, it appears to have been washed a little too warm in its past life, so now it has a slightly shrunken, boxy silhouette that makes it ideal for modern cropped styling. I’ve styled it here on an EU 36 - S and it works like a charm, but it would also flatter a size 34 - XS for a relaxed, slightly oversized crop.
The piece is in overall great condition with light signs of age, but no major flaws, just a little character and softness from time. A true Escada treasure that adds elegance to any capsule wardrobe.
